Week 1

The habits you create this week will carry you through your career - start strong!

Monday

What you need to know when you're new:

It might feel like there are SO many things you need to know as you start your career here. While there are a lot of things you've been learning, and lots more that you will continue to learn, Justin Ellingson does a great job of breaking it down to what you REALLY need to know as you start your career.

Grab your Continual Ed Form (that you printed yesterday) & take some notes while you give this a listen.

Good stuff, right?! Take a picture of that form & send it over to your field trainer in your support channel on Voxer. Maybe leave a quick voice memo recapping your biggest takeaway and why it stood out to you.

Preparation for Tomorrow

When you were in Sales Academy you learned the value of completing your Nightly Goal Sheet as you plan and prepare for the next day. Yesterday you printed out your field ready version of this form; take 10 minutes right now to get prepared for tomorrow and get that filled out. Remember the 5 P's - "Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance"  (or the 6 P's if that's how you learned it!)

*If you. have any questions on how to fill this out, reach out to your trainer right away*

Once you've gotten that done (including listing out the businesses you plan to see tomorrow) snap a picture and send it to your training team in your support channel on Voxer.

One last reminder - if you haven't entered your stats on the stats site yet, be sure to do that now!

Great job today! Get a good night's rest and have fun in the field tomorrow!

Tuesday

Rapport & Connecting

Over the last 2 days in the field I'm sure you've seen your trainer do a great job of building rapport with prospects and connecting on a human to human level. This isn't a skill that everyone is born with, it's one to be developed with practice! Listen to this audio of Andy Santos on the subject of Rapport & Connecting - grab a Continual Ed Form and take good notes while you do.

Pick out one or two takeaways from this audio and send your trainer a message in your support channel on Voxer with what stood out to you and why. Attach a picture of your continual ed form!

Preparation for Tomorrow

Every day that you plan to be in the field we are going to fill out that Nightly Goal Sheet to plan and prepare for the next day.

Grab a blank Nightly Goal Sheet and do that now. Set yourself a morning routine, some goals and a focus for tomorrow, and don't forget to plan out the businesses you intend to visit.

When you're finished, send a picture of that to your trainer in your support channel on Voxer.

Critical Success Factors

There are critical success factors in all areas of life. What are the CSFs in this career? The things that will help you to lay the proper foundation to build your success upon here.

Chris Samuels is going to tell you what those are - grab your Continual Ed Form & a fresh pen to take some notes while you listen.

Identify 1 or 2 of these Critical Success Factors that you are able to focus on and commit to no matter what.

Hop in to your support channel on Voxer and let your trainer know what those things are. Post a picture of your Continual Ed Form while you're at it.

Preparation for Tomorrow

I hope you're starting to see the value of planning out each day - the plan doesn't always work out 100% but when we plan and prepare we take the pressure off of ourselves and put it on the system. Like Chris said in the audio "plan your work and then work your plan"

Grab a new Nightly Goal Sheet and fill that out for tomorrow.

When you're done, snap a picture and send it to your trainer in your support channel on Voxer.

Thursday

The Power of 30

You've heard over and over that the best thing you can do for your business is to go out and get 30 demos a week, or 6 demos a day. If you've heard it over and over it must be important!

Ben Majeske came in to this career and immediately put the system to work. Listen to this Elevators podcast where he talks about his experience coming in to this career with a stack of debt, a little burnt out, and in a spot where his best option was to just do the dang thing.

Grab your Continual Ed Form & take some good notes while you listen.

Was there anything Ben talked about that really resonated with you? Share those things with your trainer in your support channel on Voxer. Send a picture of your continual ed form while you're at it!

Preparation for Tomorrow

Just like always, we're going to take a few minutes to set ourselves up for success tomorrow!

Grab a blank Nightly Goal Sheet and do that now.

When you're finished, send a picture of that to your trainer in your support channel on Voxer. While you're at it, it's Thankful Thursday - share a few things you are thankful for right now.

Simple, Not Easy

Your career here is simple - spend 8 hours a day in the field Monday-Friday & be sure to get 6 demos each day.

Nobody promised that simple equals easy though. If this career was easy then everyone would do it and the rewards wouldn't be as great. The challenges are why we do this.

Listen to Dillon Buck's perspective from his 9th week in the field. Take some great notes while you listen

When you are finished listening, send your takeaways to your trainer in your support channel on Voxer.

Have a great night & celebrate all of the effort you put in this week!

Over the Weekend

This weekend is both a time to relax and refresh as well as a time to plan and prepare! Make sure you take some quality time to rest and find time to get these things done between now and Sunday night.

How Did Last Week Go?

One of the first steps to growth is reflection. Take a few minutes to reflect on last week using the Weekly Reflections Sheet you printed last weekend. I'll attach it below in case you need it.

Getting Back to the Basics

Even after just 1 week in the field it's easy to get away from the basics and what we know works. Take a few minutes to evaluate your habits and your business by filling out the Back to Basics sheet.

You should already have one of these saved or printed, but if not here it is!

Now that you've reflected on the week and you've identified a few areas for improvement next week - snap a picture of those 2 forms and share them in your support channel on Voxer along with your takeaways so your team knows how to best help you.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and rest up for a stellar week 2!
